There was pizza in a conference room again this week -- but, in deference to Jono, Henry had also put on a Clash CD a little more loudly than was conventional for a meeting, which he hoped would make up for his fondness for feeding people. He had to raise his voice over the music, but that wasn't anything he wasn't used to

Pizza? Yeah, Anemone and Gulliver weren't going to pass this up, and it wasn't like they had any classes they needed to be at instead.

It was Gabrielle's opinion that whether a few extra days' wait for a book might be fatal to someone entirely depended on the book and the circumstances, but she kept that to herself and took a slice of pizza instead, picking halfheartedly at the toppings.

The music was loud, but at least it was a more pleasant sort of loud than, say, war parties rampaging through a defenseless village. It was sad how used she was to that kind of din.

Dan was there, munching on a slice of pizza, and silently thanking God that he didn't have to man the library during the gremlin thing.

Sam had taken a slice of pizza, and was debating whether or not to be honest and warn Henry that "criminally dull" was a foreign concept in Fandom. Maybe it would be better if he didn't know?

Nope, still not going for the pizza. But Jono certainly did appreciate the music. As a matter of fact, he was decidedly less cranky than he might have otherwise been, because of it.

Griff was going to count this lecture among those things more useful when known in advance. Chomping on a slice of pizza, he considered that at least he'd won his fight with the monsters in the library.
