I wished LJ has those single-line status updates like Twitter or Facebook. Facebook and twitter is more for chitchatting with people...lot's of people, some you know well, some you don't. At least for me anyway. I like status updating because I often have small random thoughts. Status updates are like a condensed version of blogging. However, I'm not all that comfortable with randomly updating my thoughts on those social networking sites because I don't necessarily want to share it with everyone. Blogging is a little more private.
Anyway, just a random thought. LJ, do you see this? Can we have a status update function here too?
