So we have a little farm going on in our backyard, courtesy of my brother and the girlfriend. And though from this photo..it looks more like a wild weeds growing, there's actually real vegetables growing hidden behind this green mess.
Originally, I didn't understand the fun of growing your own food, as the girlfriend one random day showed me excitedly their green peppers and I could only pretend to show the same excitement.
Then one day, I began actually eating these zucchinis that were growing in my backyard and decided that it definitely tastes significantly better than the ones you would buy at the grocery store. We now have a ever-growing supply of zucchinis, wintermelons, chilli peppers, green peppers, chinese squashes, tomatoes, amongst other things.
This is just a random post about my not-so-secret garden. To be honest, I really just wanted to make this post because I thought the title was super fitting, lol. As well, I thought that gigantic zucchini in the picture above deserves some LJ spotlight on my blog.
