So today was pretty sweet over all- This morning I had Law and Order and we practiced pat downs and talked more about officer safety and watched some good and bad practicals from a few years ago... Then math was rediculous as always- Brenna and Stef were making games for each other to play--- Say "Knapsack strap" and "Toy boat" 3 times fast- I bet you can't do it!--- then 5th period was the last day of Volleyball in gym---
OKay.. am I crazy or am I nuts?? I've been going to gym on BOTH A and B days-- only getting credit for one of the 2 classes.... but just so I can play volleyball-- AND it's 5th period- the longest period of the day- and I stay there for gym to play volleyball.. I know. STUPID. but I could always use that little bit of excersize.
After gym, we went to lunch (me kait and kev) at subway which was delish. then I went to pottery and finished glazing my multi-hole sunglasses pinch pot type thingy.. I hope it comes out as good as I imagined... I have to do some clear glaze a little bit over some parts but it's gonna come out amazing! and i'm so excited!
After school, I brought Mal home, and picked up Kev- we made a run to the bank and to Cumbys to pick up snacks for later. On the way back to Kev's I saw little (not so little) Martell walking so I brought her home as well.... Then Kev and I got our snacks together in my purse and went to see "The Passion of Christ" ...
I enjoyed it. I think the carrying of the cross was a little drawn out but I'm impressed with Mel Gibson- going fromn an actor to a director- thats a jump. I can't believe how graphic the lashings got- it was real looking made me cringe... I'd recommend anyone and everyone to see it. But it's a 1 time thing.. I wouldn't see it again but it was good.
After the movie, we went to my daddy's work to pick up tickets for tonight-- and the oil guy- Joe (who's got crazy eyes) has a quad--- and we were looking at it and it was sweet.. So Joe was like "want to try it out?" and of course we were like HELL YES.. so It was so damn cute.. Me and Kev jumped on the quad and went 4 wheeling around the little street and parking lots and stuff- AMAZING. I felt like Larissa on Average Joe.... riding a quad with my boyfriend- how much more cuter could that get!?... so then Joe was like- this thing can go anywhere- take it in the back!! (there's woods in the back- no trail and a bit of a hill... so Kev and I were going to.. but we were just like ahh.. so Joe was like "Mindi I'll take you down there" so he did and it was crazy.. he was running over trees and stuff.. and going up huge steep hills.. Then Kev did donuts in the back on the dirt and nearly rolled the Quad but jumped off before it could crush him. thank god.
So after we rode the quad for like a half an hour switching between driver and passenger (so to speak)... I finished the tour of my dad's building and we got the tickets for the Wolfpack game... we stopped @ McDonalds on the way there for dinner.. and we're in the drive through and we finish ordering and the guys like "750.00 dollars... please drive up" .. i was like ".... WHAT?!" and he laughed.. he's like "7.50" I was like "oo clever- you got me on that one!" inbetween lots of laughs... then we head to the wolfpack game- where I thought I would be towed cuz I parked a little illegally on the wrong side of the sign- but it was all good
Because my parents are season ticket holders they had like some promotion thingy where they were giving away free tshirts to the STHs so Kev and I got them! yay. then I got a little carvel ice cream and he got nachos as we enjoyed the rest of the exciting wolfpack game-- which went into over time and Wolfpack won 2-1. Lots of fights and lots of action- great game. After the game, we came back to my house and my mom made a list of things that I had to do within like the next week or so. And I called Mr. A to talk about who know what cuz he called. So come to find out I'm going to a softball clinic @ Springfield College @ 7 in the morning on saturday. Sweet, I guess??!
After that, Kev and I went up to my room watching the rest of "who's line is it anyways" which was funny.. until Kev punched me in my jaw ;) But I still love him. Then we sort of had our first fight- although it really wasn't a fight, more of a conversation with a little bit of hostility in it... It's okay- i'm glad I talked to him about it- I mean I wasn't MAD at him but just bothered me a little bit- made me uneasy. (and yes this is all the same stuff I said to him so I'm not using this as a way to tell him how I feel)...
But anyways- It was a great day for a date---- Movie, 4 wheeling on a quad, Wolfpack game. SWEETNESS
