It's time for Round 4 and I have to tell you that it was so hard to pick just one prompt out of the many fantastic ones we received when suzannemarie requested them. Oh, I got that he was laughing pretty much straight away, but a political cartoon of Cronus that I am convinced Daniel understood and only claimed not to get... Hee hee hee hee. :)

Yeah, I kinda gave it away with the title, but still the *team* didn't know.

Ha ha ha. (I actually have an idea for a little epilogue, but that seemed like a good button as is). It fit in a comment! Whoo hoo!

Just Breathe

“Breathe, Daniel.” I coax gently, trying not to show my panic at his wide, frightened eyes. His face is paper-white and his cheek, when I cup it with my hand, is cold and clammy. “Come on, just take a deep breath, you can do it, just in and out. Just like that.” He finally gets a breath in and out, eyes still locked on me. “You good now?” He nods and I smile back at him, squeezing his fingers firmly. “Let’s do this, then.”

His voice starts out as a whisper but slowly gets stronger, more vibrant until everyone can hear the words recites. “I, Daniel, take thee, Jack…”
