It makes sense though. If you suddenly had the magical ability to turn into a cat, would you start feeling attracted to them?
Although I hear this is a contradiction and that Oda earlier mentioned how Chopper could fall in love with a human woman. Meh, it doesn't matter, Chopper is way too childish to really fall in love with anyone, anyway.

I don't recall this ever being said. I remember an SBS where Oda stated Chopper was not attracted to human woman, and then later in Thriller Bark Chopper continues this sorta trend stating he's not interested in naked human girls.
IIRC, Oda said something about Chopper being able to fall for a human due to their personality, but not to be attracted to them. So, platonic feelings possible, but not carnal - according to what he stated then. I'm not sure if this new statement is a back-tracking as much as it's clarifying... (I dunno if the same Japanese words were used in the two instances.)
The timeline with Sanji's name doesn't make sense. One Piece began serialization with issue 32 in 1997. Naruto began serialization with issue 44 in 1999. That's over 100 chapters for One Piece. Sanji was introduced back in chapter 43. Maybe the oneshot for Naruto ran sometime in late 1997 or early in 1998?
No, Sanji's arc was over after Naruto began serialization. But anyway, according to veronica_jay below, it was the Naruto oneshot that ran in 1997 that probably made the change happen.
Although it was cut due to page limitation, there was a scene originally where Garp and Usopp have a conversation!
-Usopp shows his concern about his dad in the Red Hair Pirates, and Garp asks Usopp to take care of his grandson.
Aargh, why, why couldn't we have gotten to see this one?? I'd gladly have swapped a few of the panels of naked Franky running through Water 7 for it? It was the same thing in Loguetown - Usopp got left out due to page limits. :(( Damnit, I didn't like the ending of that arc much, and some Garp-Usopp interaction could potentially have made it a lot better...
Belated edit: But - thanks a lot for posting this, it's all very cool to know! /edit
