Obligatory life update #850 (or something)

 Dear Journal,

Wow has it been a crazy 6 months or what?  I've been dating Krystle for six months now.. oh what's that livejournal? You haven't been introduced to Krystle yet?  Alright well Krystle is this amazing girl that I've been dating and she's pretty.  I met her at DVC where we worked together as tutors, and also through Melissa our mutual friend.  Before we started dating I had a huge crush on her, I remember the first time I saw her I thought she was super cute, and that she seemed like my kind of girl.  I was so right.  It's funny that each relationship I've been in has completely changed love for me.  After our awkward first hangout, I was surprised that she was so willing to hang out again.  Later she would tell me that she thought there was something off about me because how awkward I was, (I was super nervous) but she thought my laugh was cute so she gave me a second chance.  The second time we hung out we went to Berkeley and got pizza, and then went to The Albany Bulb.  We walked and talked all day, and generally made a good connection.  We continued to talk at school and tried to hang out here and there between homework.  After awhile we went back to the Albany Bulb and we finally held hands and that's when I knew there was something between us.  We took things extremely slow, but I just didn't want to rush things.  One night while hanging out in my room, I decided I was going to make my move and kiss her.  I hatched out a plan that we would have a staring contest and just before giving up I would go for it.  It worked, and later that night I asked her out.  We started dating April 3rd, and I've never been happier in my life.  I know at this age we tend to just rush into a relationship and it's purely about sex, but we didn't have sex until late June or early July.  Fast forward to present day and time, and earlier this week I helped Krystle move to Davis for school.  We're still together, but this week has been the hardest, longest week I've experienced in a long, long time.  I miss her so much, and I just want to drop everything and drive out to see her, but I can really only do that once a week.  It'll be tough, but I want this to work between us, and I really really hope that we can make it through this.

Oh by the way, I started going to Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  After years and years of wondering what to do with my life, I'm going to school to get my Bachelor's in Fine Arts for Photography.  I started school on September 3rd, and it's been an awesome experience so far.  I take BART out to school 2 days a week, and have 9 hours of class in those 2 days.  Lecture gets pretty tiring, but at least the subject is FINALLY something I am interested in.  I was extremely excited that my student ID is a keycard to get into the buildings because it makes me feel important.  It's such a small thing, but those little things really make me happy sometimes.

I have more to say, but it's 12:50 and I need to get to sleep since tomorrow is one of my school days.  I can't wait for Friday to go visit Krystle.
