(no subject)
So here we are. Two weeks or so after my last entry. So much has changed. I have a job now. I am so excited,. I can barely believe that I work now. It's still something that I'm having to adjust to again.
I work at one of the Ms in Anderson. It's not too bad so far. The work is easy and the people are pretty friendly.
I have my own place now. I like my apartment, it's small and cozy. It's in a pretty neighborhood too. I can walk to work in about 40 minutes. I even bought a bike, who I named Natasha,so I could ride to work. Not only that, I can go for a bike ride if the urge strikes me. Life has taken a turn for the better.
On a sad note however, I finally had to resign myself to giving Peaches to the animal shelter. I had no luck finding a home for her on my own. I told them everything about her that I could think of that was pertinent. I pray that I did the right thing.
The good news is that I can come and go as I please with no worry.
On a happier note, a lovely orange tabby came to live with me. I named him Eli and I am taking him to be neutered this coming Wednesday. I am hoping that I adjust to being a cat person.
