If you're going to wear clothes to church that are out of the ordinary, in this case Renaissance style clothes, wear outfits that are tasteful. There is this small group of people

I was trying to work out what Renaissance style clothing looked like but your description of all the laces painted a good enough picture.
Never easy when you hear something that reminds you of a sad time, I know one of the songs that was sung at my great grandfathers funeral, it was a great song but everytime I hear it now I can remember that day.
