So the Croc man died. It is really quit sad. And who would have thought that he was going to be killed by an animal who has only killed 17 other people in the whole world since it started being recorded? I'll miss seeing him freak Jay Leno out on the Tonight Show. RIP mate!
The day that my Social Problems professor actually completes a single thought will be the day that the world ends. Just thought I'd state that.
I'm still trying to get over the fact that I had classes yesterday. I wouldn't have been so mad if the grad and evening students had class too, but they didn't. And that just sucks major butt nuggets.
I went back home last weekend to take Schnapps to the vet for his second round of shots and to help with some of the house work. I didn't do much of that. It was mostly Logan and my father that did the house work. We're trying to get our house ready to put on the market by February. My father got a job in Newberry, SC, so now he lives in a one bedroom appartment during the week and comes home on the weekends.
A funny story about that.
My father's aunt called the house the other night a little after 10. This aunt lives in Wisconson and almost always forgets about the time difference. But during the school year, especially the begining and around EOG time, my mother is in bed at 9pm and well into sleep by 10. So when Aunt Jolene called mom wasn't in the clearest of minds. She called wanting my one of my father's brother's phone numbers to get information about whats going on with my grandma. My mother's response is:
Well, Doug has the new number, but he doesn't live here anymore.
So basically, my mother made it sound like my parents were getting a divorce. And she told it to the biggest gossip on my father's side of the family.
On a side note, I can't wait for October 3rd! That's when the new Evanescence album comes out! Woot!
