Mmmmmmmm....
Today I have nothing else better to do than tell you about the highlight of my day. Prepare yourself.
I arrived home STARVING only to discover the only snackish thing in our cupboards was an apple. Now, don't get me wrong, apples are scrummy, but they're also boring. But I had a flashback to my girl guide days and a brilliant light bulb moment occurred. We had a little log cabin in the park of our suburb and short of going on a hike to find the appropriate setting we dug a trench in the ground and got a fire going in it, a campfire 21st suburb style. Everyone else got bananas which they slit down the middle, stuck chocolate in it and let it roast nicely. Now, I am not a banana person so I did the same thing with an apple. ORGASMICLY DELICIOUS! (not that I really knew what that meant at the tender age of ten)
Fast forward to the year two oh oh nine and I did the same thing (minus the hole in the garden, I baked it in the oven), this time adding sugar and cinnamon and more chocolate than is deemed appropriate.
Adjectives can simply cannot describe.
On another, slightly sad note, Psych doesn't return until the week after next. Suckage times ten. But, that's the day after the premiere of SUPERNATURAL!!!!!! Woooooohooooo 10 DAYS LEFT!
