The lovely dreamgranter and ourselves - the Hitachiin brothers~ - have an announcement to make.
On New Year's Eve, we will be performing a traditional Japanese music show; yes, that's right - it's Planet Poverty's very own Kouhaku Uta Gassen~! ☆
For anyone who isn't aware of what this show is like, let me explain:
Kouhaku is a singing competition between two teams of musicians; the Red Team is made up of all female performers, whereas the White Team is made up of all male. Each contestant - whether it's a group or a solo artist - performs one song for their side, and at the end (11.45PM) you, the voters, call in to vote which team you think should win. It's the ultimate music battle, boys versus girls!
The music styles usually consist only of enka and pop - not necessarily Japanese pop; sometimes Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese; Kouhaku all over the world~! Basically, what I'm saying there is, sing what you want - language isn't a barrier~
We'll be setting up a stage somewhere..., and will need help with that; additionally, we'll also need help with wardrobe. We have to look our best, you know~

Please talk with one of us if you're interested in signing up~! Please help us celebrate New Year's Eve at least slightly traditionally~
Furthermore, this is a Planet Poverty / Ouran Academy Host Club production, despite the absence of our president and vice-president - we're representatives.
[ OOC | Here's the OOC post, in case you missed it! If there's a lot of characters who respond to the IC post, as well, wanting to participate, we'll up the number of performers to a maximum of FIFTEEN PER TEAM - no more than that! If there's an imbalance, we'll have to figure out how to handle it with you guys. :( So be conscious / considerate of the balance between girls and boys, please!
Additionally, it'd be recommended but not required that the songs selected are something within the character's... realm of ability; i.e., an image song, song by the VA, opening to the show, etcetera - think about how talented your character would or would not be at singing! Other songs are totally welcome, though~ :) Also: IF ANYONE THINKS THEIR CHARACTER WOULD BE AN ENKA TYPE OF CAT, IT'D BE AWESOME TO HAVE SOME MORE CHARACTERS SING ENKA MUSIC, BECAUSE IT'S A REALLY IMPORTANT PART OF KOUHAKU UTA GASSEN IN REAL LIFE. ; ω ; Especially you girls!
