(no subject)
I went fishing at a lake in the middle of a swamp this weekend. I didn't catch anything, but I did sink up to my CHEST in mud. It was pretty crazy. Those life-flashing-before-your-eyes moments usually are.
I saw the following wildlife...
several leopard frogs
an oppossum
a very muddy deer
a pickerel(which refused to bite)
a blue heron
and a swamp rabbit.
The blue heron was the coolest because since I had gone into the swamp right as the sun rose, the fog off of the lake was all cloaked around him and the pink sunrise was glancing off the water in front of him.
I pitty you non-outdoors people. You may love nature, but you never get to see it like this.
