BUT ANYTHING THAT ISN'T OUTRIGHT TRAGIC IS A-OKAY IN MY BOOK resolution is overrated :c happiness...okay happiness isn't overrated but IT'S SO HARD TO GET THERE
lmfao i agree, even though i've grown to hate it and everything it stands for over these years of flirting by the edges, every now and then, beyond i suppose the money and the social acceptability, there's still something...shiny about it. the grandeur of what you hear, the culture so to speak, maybe even the lack of sleep for days on end balanced by parties and crashing hard. (and i think you really captured that shininess as well as the weariness here! ...well, as well as i can consider from an outsider's pov) I GUESS what i really wanted to come back to say was um thank you for MAKING MY DAY BETTER TODAY AGAIN (and nope, i've traded off selling my soul for a few more years of haven in academia before i have to make any real decisions |D)
