sometimes i pick my nose
sometimes i snore (apparently)
sometimes i drive all crazy
sometimes i drive all night
sometimes i dont take showers
and my hair gets real dirty
sometimes i tell stories that go no where
but she listens and she laughs
sometimes she kisses me softly
sometimes she kisses me hard
sometimes i have to wait weeks and weeks
for her to kiss me at all
sometimes i wear bandanas
sometimes i wear dirty slip ons
with holes in the toes
and holes in the soles
then sometimes i stay up all night
and stare into her eyes
through a tiny little screen
when all i really want
is her standing in front of me

but all the time, i love her
with all her little heart

i need sleep
