Gah what a weekend!
Ight so Friday night after work me and Sammy drove to Austin to see Chose in Tose (chaos in Tejos it’s a hxc punk tour lasts 3 days and such.) And mind you we got pretty drunk at the show, and by we I mean me, I got pretty drunk at the show. We had only been there for like an hour when Lupe calls and is like “Girls, come back we going to Mexico tonight!” and you know my drunk ass is always down for Mexico! So I was like “FUCK YA! Let’s go to Mexico!” but I had to call Jaypaul cuz he was coming to meat me at Emo’s and I didn’t want him to pay to get in and me not be there, welp he decided it best to come pick us up and drive us to the car. And somehow in that 10 min he convinced me not to go to Mexico, but Sammy on the other hand was still going to go, so I let her take my car back to San Antonio, gave her my credit card for gas there, and I’ve been staying with Jaypaul and will be till Monday..
We’ve had a lot of fun, we went to a show at Snake Eyes, which is a pathetically small ass place, but it was great, the first band was badass. Hardcore is growing on me like none other. Like Bad Brains, omg I love them... Haha Jaypaul educated me I feel smarter. He made me watch “American Hardcore” lol that movie is funny, they take themselves too seriously. Oh and at the show some kids had a pogo stick and I got to play on it, let me tell you it’s way harder than it looks.
Yesterday was Jaypaul’s Mom’s birthday, so we all went out to the Cheesecake factory and I met some more of his family, they are adorable. I love Jaypaul’s mom she’s so insanely unique. She was like “It’s my birthday and we are eating cheesecake first! Then the meal.” I donno, we did eat cheesecake first and it was great. She’s just wonderful is what I’m trying to say.
I also went to an art party last night it was soooo much fun! Omg it was so much fun! This girl who does a lot of art wanted to show off her work but also have a bunch of stuff for people to paint, draw, spray-paint and such, I painted on her chest and she painted on my arm. It was great. I was pretty drunk but apparently I was making good work because people kept telling me my work was awesome, made me feel good. So I worked on this one thing for like 45 min and then I took it outside and Ernie decided he was going to smear it, which is cool with me cuz it was ugly as hell. We both ended up fucking it up for like an hour trying to make it more badass, but it didn’t turn out so good lol... He said he was inspired by my work haha but that he wanted to add to it, joint project sort of thing ya know... I gave it to Jaypaul, who probably kept it because it says “Ernie and Fran production” and he likes the memory not because it’s any good, cuz it’s heinous...
Anyway. I’m hungry and quite thirsty so I gotta go get that taken care of.
