Return and Recuperation
Hey, everyone. For those who hadn't already heard, I finally made it back from that other universe. I was pretty wrecked up from all the fighting, but Dr. Takashima's managed a few miracles, not just patching me up, but also undoing all of Sarge's shitty old hack-work. I'll be headed back home to Blood Gulch tomorrow, with a couple more days' worth of rest to go before I can really start getting used to having a body that's all me, again. I'm feeling pretty damned good, though, and not that drugged-up flying-high sort of good I was getting near the end of things in Xen, when biofoam and meds were most of what was keeping me going on little food and no sleep.
Once I'm sure I've got my strength back up, we're gonna have to have us a party. I've got half a box canyon for party space, and a bunch of stored up booze taken from zombie-ravaged Earths. I'm not going to drink quite so hard as I used to, but there's stuff I'd like to drink to forget, and I'd like to have friends -- or at least friendly acquaintances -- around to do it with. More news on that once I'm ready to announce, like, a date and stuff.
