Hey Yall
Hey, its bill. I haven't updated my LJ in a while. I've been kinda busy lately.
Yesterday I had to get up early for saturday detention, from 9 to 11. That means two whole hours sitting in the library doing nothing. Luckily, mr knowlton, being the scholarly disciplinarian encouraged us to pick up something to read. I read a time magazine.
One thing I learned from the magazine is that during the 96 presidential race, Republican candidate Bob Dole, who ran against Bill Clinton lived in the apartment down the hall from Monica Lewinski. Bob Dole lost, but in the end...Clinton lost too, or did he win?
Anyway... after detention, i went to work a shift at work until 7pm. I got back, and nothing was goin on and i ended up spending the night at home alone. oh, i did go to the mall to get something for my cell phone, but it was sixty freaking dollars and decided it wasn't worth the money.
I talked to some people on IRC. One of them was a guy that was in Tel Aviv, Israel. He says its the party capitol of the world. He told me hes been to New York, Amsterdam, Miami, London, Paris... and none compare to Tel Aviv.
We also talked about all the violence that is portrayed there by the American media, and he assures me "its not how it looks". He said that while he was in America, he saw the news and thought there was a war in Israel or something, he was worried as hell and called his family and they were like "nope nothing new goin on, just a normal day here."
IRC, or "Internet Relay Chat" is pretty fun. People from all over the world use it, and there is always someone interesting to talk to.
Today im going to Stage Crew from 12 to whenever we stop... and the same thing tomorrow. I hope i get a chance to go out and do something tonight... if there is IM me or something... Bkilpatrick7
