is punishment a fair retaliation for insecurity? if there is no trust in a relationship is it a functioning relationship. but if someone knows what pisses the other person off and they don't do it anymore, if they make sacrifices shouldn't they expect the same kind of respect from the other person? at what point is sacrifice just considered a loss?
every relationship has bad points, it's always time to leave when the bad begins to outweigh the good in the relationship. but with distance factored in it's always harder to tell. if you believe that someone can make you happy for the rest of your life, what if they aren't making you happy right now? wait it out? assume it's run its course or dig your heels in and hold on tightly?
