So what does a Modern Princess do the first day she is unemployed? A little bit of Everthing! I do not know where this energy came from, but if I did I would bottle it and sell it. Lord knows, I could use the extra cash flow right about now. But really today, I went grocery shopping, got food in the Slow Cooker, and went to the gym all before 9 am! Then because I am a modern princess,I manged to met some friends from church for coffee and we headed out to a local nursing home to visit and sing with the residents there. All I can say is getting old must suck. But if you a guy, well I think there are 10 girls for every boy at that place, so you might enjoy it. As for this princess, I love the people there, but it makes me remember, and miss my great grandmother, (oh, one woman reminds me of my great grandmother SO much!) and grandmother. We sing with them, and they all say they like it, but I need to work on being a bit more comfortable there, I have such a hard time understanding what they are saying sometimes. After that this modern princess went home and spent some time cleaning the house. Yeah, because you never get laid off from laundry and dishes duty. Took AJ on a special surprise mission to the bead store, she loves that store. All that money that got saved up for the “rainy season”? Gone to art supply stores, all of it....or something like that. After cleaning her home, a modern princess should snuggle up with her husband, but in my case, Tip had WWE OMG: Top 50 Incidents in WWE History on the Netflix. I mean really, how much of that can a Princess handle? So you watch a few, go find a facebook game, and cuddle but not really pay attention. For the record, moment number 8, was AWSOME. But a good princess would never dream to spoil it for you and tell you what happened. Dinner was great, every princess knows that nothing bad comes out of a slow cooker. It just all mingles in there with some magic heat and tastes good over mashed potatoes at the end. After that I got a message from a friend who needed a friend, I applaud her for reaching out. A modern Princess drops her plans when her friends need her. Spending the evening with her was what I needed to do tonight. And still this modern princess got home in time to put the girls to bed.
