She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb is one of the few novels that i really like
Wasted by Marya Hornbacher
Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (the other novel)
The Snarling Citizen and Nickel & Dimed, both by Barbara Ehrenreich
Eden Built by Eves by Bonnie J. Morris
White Oleander by Janet Fitch (okay, one more novel, but i honestly don't read many novels)
Revenge of the Paste Eaters by Cheryl Peck
anything by Augusten Burroughs or David Sedaris
anything NOT by danielle steel
