Something New
Ok. trying to get back into the swing of things now.
I have been keeping fairly alright, had my usual emotional ups and downs as one does.
I had a good easter break, got to go back home down the coast for 4days. Left straight from work Thursday afternoon, we ended up shutting down at 3pm so got an early mark which was a Bonus meant i missed most of the traffic.
It was nice to see the family again and have time at home, also visited a few of my old hang-outs and special places. Went to Batemans Bay and did a little bit of shopping and also down to Narooma and went for a walk along the boardwalk. I didn't get enough time to take my Kayak out on the river thought which was a little disappointing since i haven't done so in like just over twelve months. Perhaps next time i am down.
Work is going alright, i am sort of going through a flat patch though. I am involved in a current project which i don''t really want to have anything to do with but i've been roped into it unfortunately. However most of the work is done so at least it isn't too time consuming. Not sure how much longer i will be here though, i'd like to stay mostly for the commeradery and being comfortable. But when i know i could be making more money and getting more benefits then i currently i am it sort of makes my loyalty characteristic weaken. After all you've got to look after your own interests rather then be considering that of a government department who couldn't really care.
anyhow that is the general state of affairs.
