summer summer summer time....
so once again its been awhile...
I'll pick up where I left off.
orientation was only alright. the first day was crappy, I was in the same room for almost 5 hours, that is tourture for someone like me. at night I spent time with the people in my group. I met some nice people. the next day was a lot better. we got to choose which seminar thingys we wanted, so I chose one about the national student exchange. my big plan is to go to california second semester of my soph. year I am going to work very hard to make that possible. we then made our schedules. I have the greatest schedule. one class in the morning on monday and no classes friday! woo hoo. I also learned a whole lot about my major, elementary education. I move in aug. 29, I wish I were more excited...
Rachelle's birthday was the 19th. she turned the big 1-8. we took her to bugaboo creek and we bought her game boy advance. it was nice.
we went to van veens on one of these days. it was a good time. we drank some margaritas, some parrot bay, some beer, you know an excellent mix. played an intense game of asshole and then made our way over to denny's around 4 to get my new fav. dish to eat after partying..MOONS OVER MY HAMMY ha I still laugh when I say it and I'm not even drunk. and I learned that the moons are the egss. I am a genius. oh and icabod crane was our waiter, that is the perfect denny's expiernce. ha wow lots of info about denny's.
My parents left on friday, they come back tomorrow. It was nice having the house to myself.
Last tuesday kebra and I drove up to meet my parents in Maine. The two hour drive went a lot better than expected. We got there around 5. we ate dinner and hung out untill it started raining. we layed down and eventually went to sleep. On wednesday we drove up to the white mountains and did some stuff up there. thursday was a good day. we stayed out by the pool and the hot tub for a while and then went down to the river. we ate dinner and then drove home. It was very relaxing and lots of fun.
thursday marked one month for mike and I. Who would have thought that I would ever care about someone enough to know how long its been. but its been a really great month and I care about him oh so much.
I love ashlee simpson, even if she is riding her sister's coat tails.
I am also really digging maroon 5, that should be my next cd, fo sho.
Dani is gone for two weeks. Kebra is leaving Monday for a week. gosh what's a girl to do?
My birthay is in excatly two weeks. I am not excited because my birthday means the end of summer. I never want this summer to end....
I'm watching Monk, I have to tell Mike what he's done to me.
back to work tomorrow. I haven't worked in five days. what a bum.
