There are ways to still get around that. Just do a Google search for putting copyrighted material on your iPod, and it will tell you how to configure your computer to get it done. I ran into the same problem with the Velvet Revolver and new Foo Fighters CDs, and I was able to get them on my iPod. Check it out.
