i saw the strokes on friday and they were amazing. rolling stone wasn't kidding when they voted them number 5 on the top 100 bands to see live before you die. it was definitely the best show i've been to in a long long time, it's up there with j.e.w in amount of greatness.
i also bought a digital camera cause i have a spending problem but i love it, it's amazing. i've taken a bazilion and a half pictures but none to put on live journal or friendster, what an asshole.
the other night i went to the greatest place this side of boston; fonzie's diner. yeah thats right only its not like other place that claim to be diners it's like a whole other world. the uniforms are poodle skirts but actual ones not like cheesy halloween ones and hot pants (is that what there called? think rizzo) yeah and the jukebox is full of buddy holly and elvis and the platters and american bandstands top 40, its amazing! i had the elvis, that's right fried peanut butter and banana and i just have to say the king wasn't wrong,it's good shit. they have an amazing gift shop too, mmmm shopping direct from the fifties, be still my heart.
oh and in more hilarious news i told my friend how my boss was all concerned that i had an eating disorder cause i never eat at work and i'm there all day ( because i thought it was a funny story) and then she looks me in the eye and goes (with the greatest of ease, i might add) "no offense but how fat does your boss have to be to think you have an eating disorder? i mean if you do your definitely doing something wrong." now i guess i was kind of asking for it but ouch you could have just chuckled at the story with me and kept your thoughts to yourself bitch.
i got the cats fixed too, oliver is still crazy and mimi is so calm its scary. she also has a heart murmur and refuses to grow, oliver is a giant.
i can't wait to see phantom planet, minus jason.
