you know i love that time when it's just starting to get cold, you start breaking out the wool, the hats, the thick tights. oh familiar friend, oh you extra vest!
i dig the orange lights at sennaja in the evening, and the familiar, welcoming fluorescent lights of the metro. once the jeton is in, you're home and dry.
teaching is fun, i've got good groups and nice schools. just enough hours to keep me occupied. im starting to think in grammar again. present continuous for present ongoing action. tonight is dom kino - date night. we're seeing cassavetes' daughter's film.. present continous for future plans..
gotta get some sushi in, how have i not managed it yet? present perfect negative question form.. you know english has 12 tenses? crazy, that.
i just like it cause i get to talk a lot.. and indulge my geek-grammar impulse.
first party at the theatre this weekend. хеллоуин. helloween hallowe'en... will gus's elaborate plans come to fruition..? what happens when disorganised dreamers throw parties? the intention is there but costumes require thought and time and money and well lots of us only have the thought part actually.
no doubt most people will just have a rummage through the costumes dept. but what of us that don't work at the theatre, who do their performances in front of little 10yrolds with textbooks? Lucy already took the sheet-over-the-head idea..
perhaps i'll just wrap toilet paper around myself.. do mummies also come in peach-scented-peach-coloured-with-little-perforated-clouds-flavour?? damn my frivolous choice in toilettissue...
we threw out one of our kitchen cabinets yesterday that was really fun.
the table that took its place is slightly too low to stand over for chopping so i made my little gnocchi sitting down.
