I thought he was being weirdly moody considering how he was before the port. I asked what happened. He explained, and we just -- talked. Once we were past what was bothering him, it was nothing in particular. I think it helped.

That kid is a mess. I put him to work in the kitchen.

The kid's a mess, but he's okay. He had his first look at what he used to be, and he got it a lot earlier than most Inmates do when they come here. But he's changed enough to have noticed a difference.

And yeah? I didn't realize I was distracting anybody.
