Yesterday, I learned that while one cannot build Rome in a day, they can build a barn. At least I can. Because I'm a superhero. A superhero of the yee-haw variety. Not only did I build a barn, but I herded animals into it. A cow, two pigs, three ducks, and a yak to be exact. Because no American barn is complete without a yak.
I then proceeded to doll myself up in the fanciest and schmanciest overalls of the five dollar variety and a shirt with an uncanny resemblance to flannel. Add on a neon green straw hat, a large basket with pinto beans and peaches, a small bale of hay, and boots so large that they can make anybody want to shout "oh-my-God Becky"! I was big pimpin'. Big pimpin' on the farm. In second grade. And we had a blast.
