International Women's Day
I think with the continued attacks against women's autonomy in politics from my neighbours to the south... in today's International Women's Day we need to be reminded a little that it wasn't THAT long ago that we weren't considered people. Nevermind equal people. Let's not go back there.

Women's Suffrage. This was not a gentile or delicate movement. These women were arrested, beaten, raped and publicly humiliated; so that YOU could be considered even a person. So YOU could vote and make your voice heard.
Don't let their suffering go to waste. Say a big old FUCK YOU to misogynistic politics. At home and abroad.
Vote. Make it count. Let the assholes know that you won't let them take away your autonomy or YOUR personhood.
