I don't know where the rumour of him leaving SPN started at all. As far as I know, and I do not know very far, he has no plans on leaving he's made anyone aware of. He made a comment about contract negotiations when he was at Chicago Con and its relevance to the WGA strike, but that is true of all actors as the SAg (Screen Actor's Guild) goes to the table for new overall contracts this spring, so nothing specific about him.
I mentioned once that I had a theory, something just cooked up in my own fevered brain, was that maybe some of the reason the girls were brought on to the show was so he could get more time off and pursue a life outside Vancouver. It was just me playing Devil's Advocate and playing at the whole "Year to live and WHY GIRLS"
And well as to the other thing, that caused all the "fuss"
The explanation is: Hmmm where to begin? We've heard me cower in the corner, groaning about how the 'floating head of Jensen is going to haunt my nightmares'? From one jensenfanchile's nightmarish self-insertion manips? (Case in point, look at her default icon. That USED to be Joanna Kruppa until... eeeee creepy)

Honestly, your theory doesn't sound wrong at all to me. I mean the guys are working their butts off filming the eps, its totally possible that the "girls" are there for that reason, the same could be said for all the other characters, Bobby, Ellen, all of them. I think part of the "fangirl whine" over the girls is partly due to their dilluted fantasies about Dean or Sam being theirs, lol. Not all of the SPN fans think this way but you can bet jensenfanchile thinks that way. And yes hun, that icon is puke worthy! Very creepy indeed, can you spell OBSESSED? I doubt fanchile can O_O

Oh yeah ck, I believe that one!!!!!! That is just hilarious to me. Special flower my ass!

Yeah. I admit, I do D/L the eps, cuz I have to (no tv, which is a long story involving me giving up TV and then being sucked back in for this show!) but the minute the DVDs come out, I buy them. And well, CK can have her fantasies, I just also wanted people to know the real her.
