Before Nicole had to leave for the States. She's visiting tomorrow for two weeks!






















This has been strongly neglected. I'm recuperating from something akin to the 'super flu' [what the Italians like to call H1N1] and an amazing weekend in Bilbao, Spain with Sinouhe where I saw Puppy [the huge dog made entirely of flowers in front of the Guggenheim], more Euro mullets than I ever hoped to see and the cleanest metro ever. I should also add that the Spaniards there have an impressive stamina for dancing and clubbing. The idea of going to an 'after party' at 4:30am boggles my mind. As does the fact that it is socially acceptable [and encouraged] for groups of people to drink their booze in the middle of the streets waiting to get into clubs.

I've finally sunk into the city here. I love Roma, and I never want to leave. But, November weekends will find me flying all around western Europe via the beloved Ryanair. Here is my itinerary this month:

Liverpool: This Friday-Monday to visit my cousins, tour The Beatles museum, try to decipher their accents.

Barcelona: Nov20-22. My roommates and I won a FREE use of an apartment in Barcelona for having the CLEANEST apartment of all the study abroad students! We were very surprised considering our hasty last minute cleaning and the typical state of our apartment.

Brussels/Amsterdam/Paris: Nov24-28. I come home for a day, then fly to Belgium to meet up with Sinouhe. From there we'll hop to Amsterdam to smoke the winning strain after Cannabis Cup and skip to Paris.

Anddd that's all. My roommates are counting down our days here, but I don't even want to think about leaving. It's going too fast and I'm contemplating skipping my flight and living in Roma forever.
