A couple of days ago I had my camera out to upload some pictures of snow, and since the light in our back yard was really nice I decided to take a couple of pictures just for fun. They're probably not very good if you look at them from a more technical photography viewpoint, but it was fun to see if I could get some nice pictures out of a pretty ( Read more... )

I love the branches of the tree in the first photo - the way they swirl and curve. There seems to be so much personality in it, if that makes sense. Interesting what we focus on when we see the finished product...

For some reason, the bird bath in your garden is making me think of the basin holding the RAB horcrux in HBP...lol! Maybe it's all the green of the grass! Are the shadows coming from the clouds or from the treeline behind you?

I think it does make sense, it's kind of what I think too.

Lol! I hadn't thought about that, but yeah, I can see what you mean heheh. I'm not actually sure where the shadows are coming from - I think from the treeline, but they could come partly from the clouds as well. I'd go check in the yard but the sun isn't out today.
