Pomme Frites and Camp Fairs
Firstly, I'm watching a show on Food Network and Pomme Frites is on it! Nifty!
Secondly, yesterday I worked at a camp fair in Teaneck(3 blocks down from my house) with Tucci, Kate and Jared. It was good fun. I'll mention some highlights:
*Multiple guys that chatted with us and asked information, and then later admitted that they actually had no children. There was one guy that sort of creeped up on Jared and started looking at the brochures behind him.
*Two alumni(one Awosting and one Chinqueka)showed up and they were both from 1969.
*The resteraunt labeled my lunch as Aretchen.
*Someone asked if Jared and I were a couple. ha.
*Jared mentioned and described Flugtag(kids creating flying vehicles and jumping off the docks into the lake with them)and throughly disturbed one mother.
*The table next to us had cookies.
*Jared and I discovered that a staff member from last summer was not asked back because of breaking policy after camp ended and we are still clueless as to what exactly that broken policy was.
*We all kind of shared awkward comments about the sort of people that showed up. There were a few characters.
*There was one lady that interrogated all the camps she spoke to and took copious notes. But she
put a star next to us.
It was fun though. I've got another one with Jared on Friday at this pharmaceutical company near Drew.I had class today again, but it's nothing too stressful yet. And Mandy, I got my official housing agreement today :) I got a little worried cause Bob Meade never emailed me anything. Guess he still prefers snail mail.
