Title: Getting Me Through The Night
Rating: PG
Words: 261
Pairing: Robin/Regina
He still didn’t understand this little box that Regina had given him. Magic, well Magic he could handle. But this thing they called technology, Robin would never understand. A cellular phone, Regina had called it. Apparently it was a smart phone, whatever that was. All Robin knew was that this smart phone made him feel very, very dumb.
Robin longed for the Enchanted Forest; for the simplicity that the land had.
A bow and an arrow were not very useful in New York City. Here, everything was smart phones and computers, things of which Robin knew very little about. If he was back in Storybrooke, Regina could help him, or even Henry. Here, he was stuck taking classes lovingly designed for dummies at the local library.
Eventually, Robin knew he’d find his way; hopefully before Marian blew a gasket at him not having a job. (The city really didn’t agree with Marian. She seemed nothing like herself.)
He didn’t know how to do much on his phone, but Robin was able to do a few things. One thing that always made Robin feel better was pulling up the pictures saved on the device.
There were pictures of Regina. Seeing her face made him feel better, as if in some way, she wasn’t quite so far away. The world was brighter with her smile in it.
Letting go of someone didn’t mean that you didn’t love them. And oh, how his heart still longed for Regina. And though it wasn’t likely, he was hopeful, that maybe somehow, someway, he’d see her in person once more.
