Activity #1: New Year's Eve in Storybrooke
Hello OUALers!
With only one more week until the 2nd half of season 2 begins, and 3 days until the New Year, I thought about trying something a little different to add to the excitement! For a while I've planned to start posting some activities for anyone who wants to participate and now seems like a great time to start.
First off- you need to know that any of these 'activities' are completely voluntary and no points will be awarded
This is just to help get the creative juices flowing! Basically these will be 'prompts' for fan-creations (fic, graphics, etc...) There are no requirements, specifications, or due dates. (Ex: This one is a New Year's Eve prompt, but if it makes you think of Christmas or Halloween or even Arbor Day... go for it! ;D)
Any type of work is acceptable (please use warnings for spoilers or content if needed). Do a separate post and please use the activity tag. (just post a link if you put it somewhere else.)
Prompt: It's New Year's Eve in Storybrooke. Everyone is going to Granny's Diner to celebrate. 2013 will be the first time in 28 years that the people of Storybrooke have celebrated a New Year, so it's extra special... Further 'fic' prompting: Pick a character and tell the story of the party from their POV. What resolutions do they make? (or if you don't write fic, then just pick a character and write a list of resolutions for them) Who (if anyone) do they kiss at midnight? Extra challenge: Pick a minor character (Marco, Dopey, King George-personally I would love to see a touching moment between him and his Grandson Henry, etc.) Or go back in time and pick any New Year celebration in any character's life. (ex. Describe a New Year that Emma and Neal spent together, or Regina and Daniel.) All kinds of avenues for you to pursue. :D

Oh, and crossovers of any kind are acceptable. Anything goes, pretty much, just put warnings when necessary. And please make/do write/as many as you are inspired to do. Or just prompt, if that's all you can do.
And for those who just feel they aren't creative enough to write a list, fic, or do art... then keep checking back to this post and comment on the different works to encourage those who do. So you see, everyone can participate in this kind of activity. :D
