Fantastic? That works, right? The ideas are amazing and the writing draws you in. That's missing in a lot of Arashi fics I've looked at. All pretentious, Nino-focused writing where being able to spell is more important than being able to write. But you've got the best of both worlds and even though I'm in and out of the fandom, I always make sure to read your fics~.

I admit, I was slightly frustrated at first because I thought, "Well why did I spend time writing it then? I could have filled someone else's request!"

But I was having a bad day. Once I let the other little things go, I realized that I had fun writing it and I would definitely not mind seeing other people write it. Especially when I know aridseas is such a champion. :Db

Awwww thanx. 'cause really I felt like such a douche for not realizing what it could possible mean when I said I was writing my own version and then later passing it to aridseas.
I'm clearly just a greedy, mindless, inconsiderate idiot.

But just so you know, I still go back and read it every so often. I'm actually waiting to connect my laptop to our new printer to print it out to. It's creepy weird habit I have of loving to have my fav fav fics on paper. Poor trees

And god, having passed it to both of you, who are AMAZING, I've like gone through 5 versions of what I wrote and I'm almost not wanting to continue it anymore because nothing will be original or live up to the amazing this prompt has brought about.

Sorry for plain forgetting to comment to this earlier, but please don't give up on your version! I would feel utterly awful if what I'm writing end up putting you off your own prompt. Every writer, every person is different, and I'm sure yours will be great in its own way. If I can overcome my fear of overlap and possible lack of originality, I'm confident you can too. ♥

Hopefully I can. I've been just putting it off for so long because I just don't see where my story is going or I just don't like the idea. I don't know anymore. At first I wanted to make Sho very hesitant but then a part of me realized that with how I wanted it to be a family curse, it's only normal for him to be only slightly taken a back.

The experience of meeting someone through the mirror shouldn't be the first too. I guess I just need more research and a better idea of his past before anything.

We'll see if I can get through it.

I'm sorry to hear that it soured your mood in any way, whether indirectly or not. To be honest, I was quite apprehensive about taking the prompt when I heard that you and pilkul_calpico were both going to write from it as well; fear of overlapping and unwitting plagiarism is something I tend to struggle with, and I would definitely not want to step on any toes.

I only hope what I've written so far is different from yours (hopefully in a good way?), and that you will enjoy it as well. Thank you for your kind words. ♥
