Katelyn practically STORMED into the Ravenclaw common room. She hadn't exactly been in the best mood since the news broke out about the school closing, and she basically STORMED everywhere now. She snapped at anyone who talked to her (more than usual). But when she saw Andy sitting on the couch, doing... well, apparently NOTHING, she let out a small huff and plopped down beside him, saying very quietly, (and very crabbily), "Hi."

Andrew looked over at her, noting the incredibly unhappy look on her face. It probably mirrored his own. He didn't want to snap at her, so he just replied with the standard, "Hi."

It wasn't a happy hi, by any means.

"So I take it you know about the school too, eh?"

He had to admit, it was a bit odd seeing Lyn angry about something.

"Do I know about the school??" Katelyn looked at him sideways. "Of course I know about the bloody school. The entire world knows about the bloody school, including bloody Don and his kids, who are more than happy to welcome me into the babysitting fold." She crossed her arms over her chest huffily and curled her legs underneath her.

"Those people are so bloody daft, they make me SO..." she threw her bookbag off her shoulder and onto the floor. "UGH."

"Babysitting?!" Andrew couldn't even fathom Lyn looking at a little kid without smacking it upside the head, much less babysitting. At least he would just be stuck going to some Muggle college, probably.

"I can't believe that... did you see the Governors??"

"Bugger nothing, Lyn," he replied slowly and quietly. "The last thing you need is getting killed by him." He looked at her closely, and took his hand from her mouth.

"Did you see him? I can't take him, and you most certainly can't take him." He sighed, and shook his head. "They're not worth it."

How did he understand that???

"He's not going to kill me in the Ravenclaw Common Room, Andy." Katelyn said bitterly, once he'd taken his hand from her mouth (which she was none too pleased with him for, no matter how much he'd done it to protect her). She frowned. "You shouldn't have stopped me. I could've taken him TALKING, at least. To say that the Ministry never makes mistakes?" She laughed, almost harshly. "That's setting themselves up for disaster."

Andrew shook his head again, crossing his arms over his chest. "He would kill you here. His daughter? Is a Daughter of Slytherin. Do you know what that means, Lyn?" He pretending not to pay attention to the internal workings of Hogwarts, but sometimes one just had to pay attention, and the Daughters of Slytherin? Made you pay attention.

"Their daddies are all Death Eaters, Lyn."

He sighed and sat back. "You don't need to go getting killed."

Katelyn huffed. She hated this. These poncey, pureblooded, Death Eaters were inspecting the school, and really, they were just gonna close it down to get to everyone, get them out from under Dumbledore's eyes, and take everyone away from the people they actually cared about.

"I don't care who their daddies, are, Andrew." Full name. "Besides, at least it'd make waves, or something. And I wouldn't have to babysit that way."
