Remus was really unsure why he was doing what he was doing. Sure, this wasn't the first time he had snuck into the kitchens late at night, but it was perhaps the first time he had done so without the coercion of James and Sirius. Remus sighed. 'Sirius, mate, you are rubbing off on me...' he thought for perhaps the umpteenth time in the past month.
As the brown-haired man passed one of the large windows, he paused to glance out and up at the sky. Perfectly black. Not even a hint of moon; thus his slightly cheerful mood considering all that had been happening recently.
