Date/Location: "It All Falls Down"; Monday, Oct 12th, Morning Location: Ronnie and Bastian's Quarters Open to: Ronnie, Bastian Involving: Ronnie, Bastian
Luckily, after the month and a half that he'd been with Veronica, he spoke her morning language. Of course, he was still half-asleep himself, but he murmured back, "Mmm-mm." Meaning no, he wasn't up, nor was she.
Of course, she still had quite a bit of time before she had to actually be coherant enough to teach a class. As that thought rolled through his head, he groaned and pulled her close, wrapping his arms tightly around her and opening his eyes.
"All right, I lied." His voice was filled with sleep, and he gave her a small half smile, which he highly doubted that she'd see, since her eyes still seemed to be shut.
Of course, she didn't think her eyes to be closed.
According to Very Sleepy Ronnie, her eyes were wide open and she was looking at him, utterly amused by the giant bug that was crawling over his face. But that was before the clown swooped down and flicked it off, handing him a flower that squirted water in his face.
She giggled lightly.
"Liar," she murmured, smiling wide at the vision she still thought to be completely one hundred percent real. "I want a flower, too."
Bastian gave a small snort, and began to chuckle lightly. He woke up easily in the mornings, but she-- she was piece of work. He loved her to death for it.
"Veronica, love," he whispered, leaning his head closer to kiss the tip of her nose, "You can have a flower, soon as you open your eyes."
He actually did fully intend to give her a flower; but, that would mean that he would have to unwrap himself from her, and he didn't want to do that just yet.
"Jussgimmeyours," she whined, brow furrowing as she reached out idly, trying to snatch the bright yellow orchid from his lapel. She felt, brushing bare skin, and frowned. Where was his bloody lapel? Where was his flower?
She took a deep breath, eyes peeking open as the hazy dream left her mind, and she realised that she hadn't been fully awake.
She groaned at the bright light that was seeping into the room, and sighed as she slumped back against him. "Nevermind," she pouted, hugging him close. "Stupid clown."
She frowned, curling around him tightly as she tried to go back to the warm fuzzy state of sleep. Yet, she knew him. And knew that he simply wouldn't let her.
