Andra hadn't even bothered to put on her robe properly. She simply tossed it over her shoulders, unclasped, as she trudged down the hallway. Most women would have been terribly uncomfortable in the type of heels that she wore from her dancing with Danny, but she took it without a problem.
After all, heels were a cinch compared to formal ballet slippers.
Her footsteps clapped along the hallway as she walked, making her way down the dark corridors to her room. She hadn't stayed there with Danny that long; he'd left, and she'd ended up staying alone for a while. She practised a few of her more favourite dances, as well as the new one she was learning. She had figured it would have been better to do it there rather than picking up and moving somewhere else. All at once, made it easier.
So now, as she trudged, she was exhausted. She paused for a minute, leaning against the wall to fish into her bag for the bottle of water Danny had given her earlier.
