Fat Dresses for saaaaaaaaaale!

Jun 28, 2011 20:15

Y'all, I need the closet space, for reals. I'm trying to do this in small batches, to make it more manageable. For me. Because photographing clothes is not amazing. If there are no takers here, I'll post them in a sales community - but I'd much rather send them off to people I know!

ALSO: This is an unlocked post. If you know someone in this size, send them over. :D

Also, also, I loled when I realized 5/7 of these dresses are black. Yeah, I have a preference. And the other two are pink.

ALSO ALSO ALSO: I am happy to ship internationally, but I'll have to figure out the cost.

Shipping is going to be a flat $10 because estimating weights is a sucker's game, for reals. That means your package will go priority - and that applies per purchase, not per garment.

SOLD! 1. This is an early 90s Lane Bryant jumper - just above knee length on me. Marked a 22/24 - I wore it at a WIDE variety of sizes. It's a bit snug now that I'm a 28/30. Looks amaze with textured tights, layers, and boots. And those zipper pockets are pretty much the most useful things ever. Hey, this is vintage now, isn't it? *grin*

$15

SOLD! 2. This is a size 28 secretary dress that I got via Lane Bryant. It's been worn all of ONE SINGLE TIME (to my book reading/signing in Boston). The buttons are rhinestones. The belt is detachable but I actually found it comfortable, so. The top is not stretchy at all but it fit my DD bust really well.

$20

SOLD! 3. That most famous of ebay ruffle dresses! This is a leeeeeeeeeeetle too small on my DD bust. Otherwise, it's made of magic. Also possibly unicorns. Super fun to wear, but it's only been worn, like, twice. White satin sash is included and festive.

$20

SOLD! 4. Macy's in 1995, y'all! This was actually my high school prom dress. It's a 24, and I'd say that's pretty true to size. The ruffles are phenom. Very twirly. It's been worn once. ONCE. But, I mean, who gets rid of a dress like that? I do, this many years later. *grin*

$20

5. This is a fabulous fancy pants dress. It's got a lot of room in the bust. I think it's marked a 26 but it will definitely fit larger than that. It's soft and easy moving - an awesome summer dress-up dress. The color is a warm pink - slightly peachy.

$20

SOLD! 6. This is a grey trapeze dress that I SHOULD LOVE. It's a wonderful weight of fabric. It's got great drape. AND POCKETS. It just never speaks to me, unfortunately. It's a size 28 but it'll fit larger than that - at least up to a 32, I think.

$20

7. Hot pink satin pleated dress! It's a 4 from Torrid - I'll be honest: it fits me as a 28 but it would look better on someone with a larger bust than me. It's meant to be flowy and pretty - and it totally is. I wore it to a wedding reception. It's been worn ONCE for a handful of hours. Good times.
