Thing 1:

So, the jelly thing turned out awesome (I've been eating English muffins with homemade jelly every morning at work and not only does this mean I have a cheap breakfast, I am filled with self-satisfaction with every bite) and I have been entertaining other food preservation thoughts (pickles, y'all, pickles). I honestly don't care for Punky Colors at all. The bleeding is too much for me and it fades super fast.

The Pravana Vivids have treated me well - this last time faded a little more quickly than usual but the back is still quite bright. I think it is a combination of only leaving it on for 15 minutes and me being out in a sun a LOT lately.

It also cracks me up how different the same COLOR can look on a person!

We were rushed the last time - it was right before Convergence and it was Kat's anniversary and she had stayed late to give me a haircut and redo my color. But I think next time I'm going to ask her to just send me home with the color on my hair and then I can let it sit for a couple hours. I think it'll stay a lot more stable then.

You also change your color a lot more than me - my hair has been blue, more or less, for two years now! *grin* I don't think I'm going to be changing it any time soon, so the color not bleaching out is actually a plus for me.

Sometimes I miss having hot pink hair (I was using the L'Oreal Hi-Lights for Dark Hair for that whole adventure) but I really really wish my hair would just grow blue. *grin*

The first time we did the Pravana, becuase there was a lot of other stuff going on as well, it wound up sitting for well over an hour - and it lasted for a solid three months. It was really purple when we first rinsed it, though.

This definitely calls for some experimentation.
