The short of the story is we all end up pretty damn miserable and die. The long end is that Voldamort kills James and Lily pretty soon after they have a kid, the kid's life is shit. I go to Azkaban. Then you live a pretty miserable life without us and die later.

We don't even know if we will know. You were here before and you don't remember a thing. There's a good chance that all this is just a waste of time because we won't remember shit when we get back.
