I thought I saw frost across the river this morning, but I am not sure if it was just a trick of the mist. However, I do think I saw what looked like a deer behind the trees. I was beginning to think such animals did not exist here.

Which brings me to the question, do we have a hunting party? And if so, where are the weapons kept?

You can eat the crazier looking critters, too, but they're a bit tougher on the stomach. Actually, a bit tougher in general.

I would be alarmed if some of the.. beasts here were used for food. They don't look edible alive, nevermind dead.

It's better than us all starving to death. And rabbit-ram souffle isn't so bad. Just not a lot of meat per rambit.

Is that what those scary things are called? Let's hope no one thought to tackle those by themselves. They look vicious with the teeth and all.

Interested in trying to take one out as team effort? Now that's a different story.

I have seen worse, to be sure. But taking on a beast by oneself would be suicide, I would think.

It would provide a lot of meat.
