This is a copy of a post to the MOZ board, the day it went down. I guess it was
just one post too many. ;)
My friend Mildred, died Sunday Oct. 17th, one day after her grandson's 31st birthday.
I was relieved she waited that one day, altho' she had wanted to go long before now, and
finally was allowed to do so.
This is what I posted to MOZ, and luckily saved, or it would be gone with the rest of the stuff that we may not get back. This was hours before she passed.

Okay, I've been round the board this morning, got myself
all cheered up, but I don't want to leave without mentioning
this.
Someone I've known for over 20 years is very likely passing
away in the next couple of days. Mil is in her eighties, would
be 86 this November. It looks like she will be celebrating her
b-day in the after-life this year, and she will be sorely missed.
She and I were kinda the odd couple. We went to all the flea Markets
and garage sales in the area, and when her driving got real scary,
I took over that part of the routine. She's been in a nursing home
for some time, now, mostly in good spirits, but lately they are
only making her comfortable, seeing to her needs, ect. She wanted
no more efforts at reviving her when she goes.
So it's nearly time now, and I'm doing my best to be in good spirits
for her, and her daughter, my best friend, Pooh.
Mildred is a joker, and she'll see going out as humorous, I'm sure, and
I'm keeping good thoughts in my head, if I can.

Good Journey, Mil.
