Holy shit, I was so scared...
...but now I am fine, for Dog Fashion Disco isn't breaking up. Phew.
Oh, yeah, where I left off in my last post - Thursday morning. My mom left for New York that morning, and with my sister at my dad's, I woke up to my very own house for 6 days. Sweet. Had some friends over on Friday, work, bands practice, etc.
Gabriela's and my 1-year anniversary was this past Saturday!!!....holy wow, I can't believe it's been a year! And I'm still as happy as I could ever be. For she is amazing. :) She had to work all day and I was stuck home finishing projects, so I missed my family Thanksgiving deal, but I picked Gaby up from work, went to the spaghetti factory for dinner, I gave her some pressies (she liked them! horrah for not failing), and then we went back to my place to watch donnie darko (which she has now officially seen). Twas amazing!
Next day we went to her grandparents' house for Thanksgiving on Monday, spent most of the day together with her crazy-loud but awesome Italian family, and had a blast. Came home Monday, tired. Only just realizing the cleanup I was supposed to accomplish over the weekend.
Go me.
No big parties or anything, though I did manage to hit up a party with a bunch of my old high school friends on Saturday, fun times to say the least!!
P.S. Pelican + Daughters = absolutely fuckin' amazing.
