In the time that hadn't been occupied by duties or exploring her former home with her friends, Susan had indulged in the extremely girly but entirely pleasurable activity of taking the longest bubble bath she possibly could. It was so nice, warm and comfortable and entirely luxuriant that she nearly fell asleep in the bubbles before Mrs Beaver came in with her dress freshly pressed, reminding her how much time was left before the party.
Susan thanked her, then got out (reluctantly), dried, and clad in a dressing gown. She had promised to do Sansa's hair for her for the party and let her go through her jewels to pick out whatever she liked to go with it. It wasn't going to be a terribly fancy party, but Susan knew Sansa would have nearly as much fun finding pretty things to wear as actually going to the party, and she was happy to give her the chance to do it.
