In a recent post, gealach_ros linked to a report that provides more details about recent photos.
During the scene in which Arthur and Gwen are walking through the courtyard, the extras were told, "Vous êtes souriants, vous êtes heureux, votre roi s’est choisit une reine, VOUS ETES HEU-REUX !" ("You are smiling, you are happy, your king has chosen his queen, YOU ARE HAPPY!").

Going by this report, it seems Arthur and Gwen's engagement as well as Uther's death are both confirmed (in addition to calling Arthur "king," the source states that she received confirmation that Uther is indeed gone). =O
