the beauty of the powder falling upon my lawn will never compare to the face of the one who warms my insides, there are no stars in the sky so i shut my eyes and hold them tight, feeling the chill of a love i almost lost the night before, such a scary feeling, but now i'm feeling so complete, with knowing her heart has been mine and mine hers now for these 15 wonderful months. now times continue and my heart falls deeper into her hands, longer car rides, more hand in hand conversation, late night talking and the sparkle of her eyes when she falls deep inside and reads her heart like a book, whispering to me like it's a beautiful secret only the whole world knows. sometimes it takes nearly losing something so important to understand how you don't ever want to come close to loss again.
