It was fun to talk to chillies on the phone last night. I hope that he wasn't too weirded out: I'm afraid that he prolly didn't even have any alcohol :( Don't worry -- we had enough for us and chillies together.

There was just me, Jenny, shortmat and oac. We were in the Dove: lovely pub in Hammersmith on the river, right next to a house which was owned by William Morris. We ( Read more... )

Really good to hear from you guys last night. No ... I didn't have any alcohol, just some cold coffee.

I'm going to be in London from 11th to 17th March. Do you fancy meeting up for a drink on the Sunday?

Nuala's in the US from 13th to 29th March. She can take holidays during school term time with impunity!

Coffee <> alcohol. Poor old you.

Darn! It would have been nice to have seen Nuala. My children will be in London on the 13th and 14th. We could meet on Sunday evening, otherwise some non-weekend day might be best. Of course, I can meet in the daytime as well :)

I was thinking about spending Sunday in a pub, so arranging stuff for the evening may be ... err ... fluid.

With all the fuss about the Lindisfarne Gospels, I was thinking of heading to the British Library to see it and the other bits and bobs they have. What do you reckon?

Could we spend some other evening in a pub instead?

I'd happily join you to look at the gospels: I've never been. Maybe pub after that?

Sorry, you're just missing me. Pub night sounds great. I really have to go Londonwards sometime soon.

I believe that type of account was orginally supposed to be for people who contributed loads but they had a sale of 100 of them at a time a few times ine the time I've been on here. Usually to raise money for a specific project. And I had some spare cash at the time and adore lj so got one.
